HERA Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2017 ended a huge success on October 22 with "HERA X Miss Gee Collection Finale Show," which demonstrated the beauty of SEOULISTA. It was held over six days from October 17 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
The finale of the HERA Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2017 was the SEOULISTA Fashion Show which HERA co-hosted with the Miss Gee Collection by Gee Chun-hee, the top Korean designer. The Miss Gee Collection Seoul S/S 2017 collection, which was inspired by HERA’s muse "SEOULISTA," brought a variety of looks to the runway to showcase the passionate and sophisticated side of Seoul women.
HERA’s latest brand campaign video – "Filmed by SEOULISTA" – kicked off the show’s finale in style. The impressive video illustrates the conflicting beauty of SEOULISTA through artistic use of photos and videos on "shining moments in Seoul" sent in by customers via social media. The brand campaign video features 43 pieces chosen from among 1,159 submissions via Instagram and Facebook from September 13 to October 4. The video will be publicly released on October 26.
Numerous global buyers and celebrities in the finale show said that HERA Seoul Fashion Week should now be called one of the top five fashion weeks in the world. All agreed that HERA’s brand campaign video and SEOULISTA Fashion Show by Miss Gee Collection successfully depicted the beauty of Korean women in Seoul, the city of global trend setters.
HERA directed all the backstage makeup for 70 brand designers over the past six days and completed the runway looks of the HERA Seoul Fashion Week. Lee Jinsoo of HERA Makeup Pro Team said that the most important point of S/S 2017 makeup trends was nude pale skin expression that brings out the skin’s natural glow. The technique for getting this is creating deep and subtle looking eyes with natural gradation and then adding a glittering or glossy highlight on red lips, which is the "it" color for S/S 2017.
We look forward to seeing the K-Beauty showcased at the HERA Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2017 take the world by storm.
