HERA Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2019 ends with a grand finale

HERA Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2019 officially sponsored by HERA, a luxury brand of Amorepacific, came to a grand finale on October 20, 2019.

HERA has successfully directed the backstage makeup for all 60 designer brands that participated in HERA Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2019 and presented the season-forward makeup trends as it has done over the past seven seasons since the S/S 2016.

The key to the S/S 2019 makeup trends as HERA showcased through this Fashion Week is a variation of lip colors otherwise called paradise for lip makeup. HERA as a makeup professional presented various color makeup lineups and especially lip makeup products, the symbol of color makeup. HERA used its signature lip makeup products - ROUGE HOLIC, LIP GELCRUSH and SENSUAL TINT with different textures and colors to create different lip makeup looks for each collection that was brought out onto the runway.

Lip makeup looks from HERA Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2019 are largely divided into two concepts: Lip makeup using the Vitamin Red color, inspired by the lively and healthy colors of super foods, added sparkle to the models walking on the runway.

In contrast with vivid Vitamin Red, modern nude lip colors were also brought to the stage. Urban nude, the basic nude shade enriched through the makeup skills of HERA makeup artists is one of the key lip makeup trends for summer and spring 2019. They added a hint of orange to the center of the lips, an extra coat of glossy balm over the lips and used other tactics to give dimension to the nude shade that looks somewhat plain.

In other news, HERA recruited Risabae, Korean top beauty creator, as a special creative director for this Fashion Week. She, together with HERA’s professional makeup artists, directed the backstage makeup and introduced various makeup products.

HERA’s special photo zone at DDP Oullim Square with the theme of its signature makeup products used for this Fashion Week was another attraction. Nearly 3,000 participants came to the photo zone for a special selfie event that lasted over five days and showed their great interest in HERA Seoul Fashion Week and HERA’s makeup products.
